Weekly Wednesday Update, November 17, 2021

The IFS will take a short break before capping off the Fall season with a memorial to the writer Larry McMurtry. In the meantime we hope everyone gets to enjoy Thanksgiving and a short reprieve on either end of this holiday.

The IFS selection of McMurtry films will begin on Wednesday, Dec. 1st, with a 35mm print of Martin Ritt's HUD (1963) in Muenzinger at 7:30, and from there we go to THE LAST PICTURE SHOW, TERMS OF ENDEARMENT, and BROKEBACK MOUNTAIN.

More details to follow next week - including an altogether new curatorial strategy for the Spring that promises a very exciting and eclectic mix of movies that will begin in January.
