Spa Weekend

Writer/director Scott Moore in person!

There’s nothing quite like a star-studded comedy movie that sees some of the most entertaining women in Hollywood team up and have, what I can only assume, as much fun off screen as it looks on screen.

We saw it in movies like Bridesmaids, which starred Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig and Rose Byrne, and the Sex And The City movie, when Carrie, Miranda, Samantha and Charlotte nursed Carrie’s broken heart by escaping to Mexico. And now, it looks like it’s happening again in the upcoming movie Spa Weekend.

Directed by Jon Lucas and Scott Moore, the creative minds behind The Hangover and Bad Moms, Spa Weekend follows four friends, played by Leslie Mann, Isla Fisher, Michelle Buteau and Anna Faris, who, after years of building their careers, relationships, families and everyday responsibilities, have forgotten how to take care of themselves – and each other.

After battling burnout, the group embarks on the ultimate girls’ getaway by indulging in a luxury spa retreat. Expect a lot of fun, laughter and some really bad decisions.
